Tim and Laura are an amazing couple from my native Rochester who wanted some creative portraits of the two of them and their dogs. We started out doing a short session at their beautiful home in the city, then trekked out toward the country to take advantage of a local farm in Webster. After my original prospect fell through, a family friend offered to let me use his property. It was a sprawling piece of land that had everything we needed; rustic old barns, fields of wild flowers, and an overall perfect rural atmosphere. At one point, we were surrounded by a group of young chickens desperately trying to figure out what our deal was. They gave up and continued their quest to chase grasshoppers, occasionally darting through my frame and making guest appearances in some of the shots. Overall, one of my favorite couples sessions ever.
August was a whirlwind, September is the same. Busy! I have a large writing project on the docket that makes it a challenge to update here as much as I should, but once that's well underway there will be more posts. Cheers!
